New Downtown Restaurant
Chef Simone Parisi at TFood shoterra & Aqua has opened a new downtown restaurant named AltaMarea (Italian for High Tide). Located at 17 King Street, the menu focuses on tastes of the Tuscan Coast of Italy while sourcing local ingredients. To see the menu go to:

March 13 & 14: The Art and Craft Event at the St.John’s County Pier; 10am to 4pm…and it’s a free event! Where: St. Johns County Pier, 350 A1A Beach Boulevard, St. Augustine Beach. March 17th: St. Augustine Beach Pier Farmers’ Market. There will be artists, crafts, food, and live music. It’s always a good time. Free! 8am-noon. March 27 & 28: Old Town Art Show Spring 2021 at St. Francis Field. This event brings with it over 100 outstanding local artists and craftsmen from St. Augustine and around the country.  This is a free event. April 2: First Friday Artwalk 5pm-9pm. On the first Friday of every month, St. Augustine’s art galleries open their doors and welcome visitors to browse the latest art exhibits at some 30 participating galleries. For a list of participating galleries, go here: April 8- July 5: Lightner Museum presents two shows featuring American Impressionist paintings. The Lightner Museum, 75 King Street. To view times and information go to: April 24: A Taste of St. Augustine at The Amp; 11am-5pm. This will be the 24th year of A Taste of St. Augustine. an annual outdoor food festival featuring over 25 participating restaurants. There will be live music all day and plenty of fun activities for children. EPIC Behavioral Healthcare produces the event annually. All proceeds go to this community-based non-profit organization. A team of food service professionals choose winners in the categories of Best Family, Best Ethnic, Best Upscale, Best Dessert, and Best Beverage. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre – 1340C A1A S. in St. Augustine. Admission is$5 per person and taste tickets are $1 each with restaurants charging between 1 and 5 tickets per taste. Free parking is available at the Amphitheatre. May 1 & 2:  Pro-Watercross National Championship 2021. Jet skis, speed, action and excitement on the water at Vilano Beach. May 1st 9am-5pm and May 2nd 9am-3pm at the Vilano Beach Pavillion. To learn more about this sport go to: April 30-May 2: 25th Annual Gamble Rogers Music Festival. This music festival takes place at the Colonial Quarters in downtown St. Augustine. For more information and ticketing visit: May 6-9:  St. Augustine Food & Wine Festival at the World Golf Hall of Fame. A culinary event on Florida’s historic coast with local chefs, tastings and live music. For more information: May 8:  St. Augustine Craft Brewers’ Fest at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. Local brewers will include Dog Rose Brewery, Old Coast Ale, Ancient City Brewery and more. Food trucks will be on premises as well as live music. The event will take place from 1pm-6pm.
