A Guaranteed Good Time in the Ancient City!
The Nation’s Oldest City is a popular celebration spot. We are a waterfront community. We are about to celebrate our 450th birthday. We have history, famed attractions, ghost tours, food tours, wine tours, Segway tours, trolley tours, kayak tours, a pirate ship, starving artists, high-end galleries, and fine dining. We have a 4-year liberal arts college. We have dinner theatre and opera and concerts in the plaza and music at the beach! And each year in May, we have one of the best festivals you’ll ever attend!
From May 10 thru 19, people will come from near and far to experience St. Augustine’s Romanza Festivale – a 10-day mega celebration of music, theatre, dance, art, cuisine, and heritage.

Romanza attracts local, regional and international audiences by featuring headliners and an exceptional cast of regional and emerging stars. Venues include traditional auditoriums as well as a collection of unique historic and cultural spaces, most within comfortable walking distance.
