Alabama on August 9!St. Augustine Amphitheatre$29.50-$110 Gates 5:30 pm / show 7 pm
This band raised the YOLO (acronym for you only live once) bar in country music!
It's been 40 years since the young Alabama cousins trio left Fort Payne to spend a summer playing in a Myrtle Beach bar called The Bowery. It took Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry, and Jeff Cook six long years of tip jars and word of mouth to earn the major label deal they'd been dreaming of, but once they got it, they took us all on their 73 million-albums journey to the top of the charts and the bottom of our hearts!
The band released an album per year in the 80s (except for 1987?) and had a #1 song every year from 1980 thru 1993! Regardless of whether you’re a country music fan, everyone has at least one favorite Alabama song.
